Swift optimises sustainability efforts across its business units and operations

Tyre Retreading

Tyre Retread Workshop manages its used tires for reuse by retreading them, leading to sustainable and more extended usage.
The rubber dust generated during tyre retreading is collected and repurposed, such as for making playground mats.

Green Warehouse

Swift maximised rooftop space by installing solar panels in warehouses to generate sustainable energy.
Swift warehouse is equipped with an electric forklift used for various tasks.
Swift warehouse is constructed using eco-friendly, certified green materials, from the floor to the walls and roof.
Paper, cardboard boxes, and plastic wrap are collected from the warehouse and sent to be recycled.
Swift warehouse parking area is equipped with EV charging stations for commercial trucks and passenger cars.

Container Haulage

Swift has made a significant move towards sustainability by adopting zero-emission electric vehicles as prime movers in its operational fleet, which not only reduces carbon emissions but also noise pollution.
Swift Haulage Yard has installed electric vehicle chargers as part of their commitment to adopt EV Prime Mover by 2030.

Freight Forwarding

Swift has initiated Ship Green Freight in its forwarding service. The program allows shippers to track carbon emissions from select ocean freight routes and utilise electronic digital BL instead of physical BL
Swift utilises the Custom Electronic Data Interchange and Digital Platform for digital document submission and shipment management.

Inland Distribution

Swift is committed to providing a more sustainable future by adopting electric light trucks to support its zero-carbon and zero-noise emission goals for distribution services by 2030. This is a promising step towards a cleaner and greener environment for all.

Daily Operations

Swift recycles cooking oil from canteens at their premises and sends it to Alam Flora for proper waste disposal.
Swift Financial System has recently adopted e-billing and e-invoicing for their client.
